Calm, practical one-to-one maths support for Years 7-11

I provide online GCSE Maths tuition for students studying the UK curriculum, with experience supporting learners from Key Stage 3 through to Higher GCSE level.

As the creator of GCSEs for Dads, an online GCSE Science and Maths resource for parents, I have spent the last several years developing structured learning materials and helping students and parents, including my own children, navigate the curriculum with confidence.

With a background in technology, business consulting and product leadership, I have spent much of my career helping people understand complex ideas in a clear and approachable way. My aim is not just to help students find the right answer, but to build the confidence and understanding that allows them to tackle problems independently.

About Me

I have over 20 years' experience working in technology, business consulting and product leadership, where clear communication and problem solving were central to my work.

Alongside my professional career, I have always enjoyed teaching, coaching and mentoring young people. Since 2019 I have supported students through the UK maths curriculum from Key Stage 3 through to Higher GCSE level while also developing GCSEs for Dads, an online revision project covering GCSE Science and Maths. The project combines structured lessons, worked examples and practical revision resources designed to make challenging topics more accessible.

I have also worked as a Chess Club Tutor at Shrewsbury International School Bangkok, a Music Production Tutor in Bangkok, and as a Youth Football Coach in both the UK and the United States. In addition, I serve as a volunteer HM Coastguard Rescue Officer, where teamwork, calm decision-making and clear communication are essential.

I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. My sessions are relaxed, practical and interactive, with an emphasis on understanding rather than memorisation. Whether a student is aiming to secure a pass or push towards the top grades, I aim to build both ability and confidence.
